Now that most close family and friends are aware (and sorry if we missed you): The Captain had a terrible accident on Christmas Day and ended up on life support at Dartmouth. His body couldn’t handle the stress, and the prognosis was incredibly dim. Per his express wishes, we said goodbye on Tuesday, December 30th. He passed on surrounded by his loving family, including his granddaughter, and I am confident that the first to greet him will be his beloved son, Teddy, who he tragically lost at only six years old.

There will be a service at St. Denis Catholic Church in Hanover, NH. Please feel free to get in touch for details if you would like to pay your respects.

Dahlias to celebrate my girl’s official start of 5th grade! 😳 It’s crazy to think she’s nearing the end of elementary school…but I could not be prouder of my incredibly smart, creative, and witty lady. Her constant kindness towards others balanced with her strong and unwavering sense of self is inspiring. Not an easy thing to cultivate!

One proud mama over here. Best of luck today and everyday, beautiful lady. You got this. ❤️

When I'm feeling stuck as though life has stagnated, I like to meander down to the garden. It serves an incredible reminder that true growth takes time, nourishment, and patience.
